The Training module has a new look. The user interface was simplied and improved for all training users. The Student Status data view replaces the Courses page and allows students to see the status of all the curriculums and courses to which they have been assigned in addition to providing quick access for viewing and completing courses.

Viewing courses for the student has become a learning experience. Teachers can define course materials into a learning path thus guiding students on the path to successfully completing the course. Students can simply click on course or test materials to load them into the right pane (or download them). Once a course is completed, the ability to view course materials as a reference is provided.

Users with permissions to view the Course Catalog data view can view all available curriculum and courses. Training students can schedule themselves for courses that are configured to allow it while training administrators can schedule any student for courses.

Speaking of scheduling, this is one area that was significantly simplified and improved. Training administrators simply have to select students using a choice of filters, a curriculum and course, and a due date. Students who are self-scheduling will find the scheduling user interface even more simplified with just a curriculum, course, and a due date needed. Scheduled training courses will appear immediately on the Student Status view as well as on the Actions page in the form of Training alerts, alarms, and tasks.
