The GrandView Dashboard page has been improved to present action items for the user as well as customizable modules similar to a Google or Yahoo! home page. The new dashboard interface will allow each user to customize the display of information that is important to him/her which will also make navigating to that information only one or two clicks away. The dashboard modules can be dynamically resized, positioned, minimized, and even closed according to the preference of the user. The first phase included the following modules: Actions, Shortcuts, Tasks, Reminders, Projects, Contacts, and Proposals. Many other modules are being defined based on user feedback. Some dashboard modules will allow user to add multiple instances and customize the content for each instance. Additionally, modules in the future will be able to extend the GrandView dashboard by containing content from other sources such as news feeds, web pages, and other locally accessed information.
